Recipe Kue Putu Bambu:

coconut cake steamed in bamboo putu bambu


Ingredients:

  • 300 ml water 
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 pandan leaves 
  • 375 g dried rice flour 
  • 25 gr brown sugar, sliced thin

Sprinkles (mix and steam until done):
  • 150 gr coconut
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon salt

Materials:


Preparation:

1. Boil water, salt, pandan leaf.
2. Enter the rice flour in a container, pour the warm pandan water while knitting by hand until smooth grains.
3. Use a sieve with large holes, to shape the dough in fine grains.
4. Put half a tablespoon flour dough in a bamboo pipe, theninsert a teaspoon brown sugar, cover with half a tablespoon rice flour dough (do not press).
(For filling easy, you can use a pandan or bananaleave to cover the bottom of the bamboo pipe)
5. Put the bamboo pipe on the pan and steam for 10 minutes over high heat.
6. Take out and cover it with the sprinkles.
7. Serve.
8. Selamat makan.
